I'd like to know the answer to this as well!

No personal experience of TRD but the web seems to suggest they are washable;

TRD High-Performance Air Filters allow the maximum amount of air to enter the engine without disturbing the calibration of the mass airflow sensor; providing smooth, clean airflow. Washable, reusable oiled cotton filter material is the filtration medium.

I use a Cotton Green washable one myself and have to do this every 6 months as it gets completely furred up in my engine bay.

I use a kit like this;

https://www.amazon.co.uk/QUALITY-COTTON-ENGINE-FILTER-CLEANER/dp/B0035LL64A

Brush the cleaner on, leave for 15 mins then rinse under the tap, dry fully then lightly oil and refit.

That's good to hear. So just to confirm, you clean the same TRD filter as in the picture?

No, I use a Cotton Green filter so I am using the correct cleaner and oil for my filter.

This is the same method K&N use but they also have their own cleaner & oil.

TRD though probably dont sell enough filters to market their own cleaner & oil so I imagine you will have to use another manufacturers product?

I got a blitz lm panel filter a while back and wondered the same, couldn't find cleaning instructions on manufacturers website. Wasn't sure if oil was suitable.

Thought ahead on that one a d got the good old K&N cleaning kit.

It's just that I've been sure you can clean the TRD filters. Suppose as long as they aren't paper element it's washable

That's the thing, I don't think the Blitz filters are washable as they for one don't have the metal mesh over them one side and I presume they are paper?
