Before my head explodes can someone please tell me what colour Plastiguage I need to order to check my journals etc? Simply can't get my head around the numbers.

Cheers Carolyn, that's what I'd got in my "basket" but then had a crisis of confidence![emoji23] it's very cold in the garage but yeah, I'll keep it in the salad drawer.
I'm assuming my standard, 32 blade set of feeler gauges will be fine enough for valve clearances?

Yes, but get at least one more set, so you can quickly rough measure.  You'll see why when you get stuck in.  I have one 3.5, one .3 blade, one .25 and one .20 at the ready.

Make yourself a little chart/spreadsheet thing to note them all down.

It's bloody tedious.
