Hi All,

on my cars last MOT while owned by the previous owner there is an advisory; "Suspension arm ball joint has slight play Offside Rear Outer [5.3.4(a)(i)]"

I was just perusing t'internet trying to price up the part needed to sort the advisory but i cant figure out which part it is referring to.

Can anybody point me in the right direction?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

:)

Call the midlife!

I'd suggest the traction/toe arm as it's the one out of the three that has a "ball joint", the others are bushed. There's an outside chance it could be the droplink but you'd sort of assume it would say droplink if that were the case?

Great, thank you!
And thank you for the photo, I am now more educated on the names of the suspension components 😀

Yeah, that photo should've come with a disclaimer really, I didn't label it and there's some debate over wether the labels are actually valid. But I did red circle the ball joint for reference.
You might want to look at Hardrace arms, they're often more cost effective than OEM. I know TCB Performance had a good price on them not so long ago.
