could you do an old school trick and do something like a brass rubbing to pick up the raised area?

What colour is it? I don't think there are many so I'm sure someone will be able to tell you what the code is just from the colour.

6S1 was the code I thought it was, but I could not find any reference to it on the internet, only 6R4 kept turning up and I knew that was wrong. :notworthy:
