Morning,

Where are the best feed points for water to turbo
and from turbo.

Many Thanks

I used the TTE method. I figured they had more money to research than me.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe it's the top left of the engine, return pipe to the coolant header tank.
Engine-turbo-header tank.

It's in the TTE manual if you can get your hands on it.

It is something I have raised with the committee. For the time being it's in the reference section.

C2 kit came without water feed to turbo as Gaspar didn't see the need, but when pushed he proposed the same sort of setup. It seems to work well. I've nothing to compare it against but i do have 130,000 miles on the turbo now. The first 35,000 were jacketless.

Some installs I've seen have used the tap in the block (under the cylinder head pipework) for the turbo-engine hose but the TTE arrangement is neater and, arguably, offers better circulation.

Just to set your mind at ease, the installation manual was made available to the Club when the kit was launched. ROC was a key focus for TTE as a potential market, and our (then) affiliate Silverstone Performance became a recognised supplier/installer. The manual doesn't bear any copyright markings or clauses, and I very much doubt that Mark would have released it without the nod at a time when Toyota were bearing down heavily on us.

If you need to refer to it for ideas, fill your boots. Just don't be passing it around or posting it up all over the place!
