Charge cooler pump wiring

Looking for advice on wiring in my charge cooler pump
how have you guys already running a charge cooler set up powering it ?
the pump is located in the engine bay .
think its best wired in to be on permanently when the engine is running but open to advice

Can't tell you how it was done but mine comes on as soon as I put the key in the ignition.
Located under the car half way between cooler and rad.
