Hi All,

May be stupid but when my roof is carefully folded down from outside the car I am never sure to try and tuck the rear corners down or leave them slightly protruding.

All advice and insults welcome  :)

Hi Greg, they are called ears when the roof does that.  I actually took my roof strap away from the roof lining as I felt that tucking the ears in didn't seem to do any good for the roof.  I know it's not the right thing having ears within the club but hopefully I will be forgiven.

Greg doesn't have a oe roof.
I can remember the material off the top of my head.
@s12vea is it vinyl or mohair?

The answer to the material depends on the folding method.

Mohair roof
From memory I always had to help the ears disappear when putting the roof down.

Hello Greg
Mine is a canvas type material.
Always tuck mine in just before the click down.
Was on the car when I bought it. So never had a vinyl to compare with.

Ok so sounds like the majority tuck ears in.

Sorry Jane I am sure you will be forgiven.

@spit always said the same as you @Chilli Girl.
The strap causes an extra fold in the roof, so, the "ears" are actually better than no ears. Sadly
...neutiquam erro.
