Parking on a slope.

Good evening all. I have recently managed to get my 2 on the drive without it grounding out (quite a steep drive) and I have parked it with the front higher than the rear. however after all the rain we have had over the last few weeks I have heard a sloshing sound coming from behind my passenger seat when I drive but without the carpets being wet or any sign of damp. I think I need to look at the gutters but my question is, given the choice is nose up better for drainage than nose down or does it not matter?

I suspect you have blocked drains. behind the side vents there is a drain, by carefully removing the side vent with plastic trim removing tools , you will be able to clear out the Crud. It is good you have found this as the ECU lives under the bins in the same area

With the roof up you can explore behind the seats U should see a little sort of vent where the water goes, it is tempting to have a prod with a straightened coat hanger, don't do this.

Yes.
In the area above the bins, where the soft tops folds into, in each corner there is a vent that resembles a plughole. (sort of).
These guide the water from the roof to the drain outlet that exits behind the side vent.
Given the age of these cars now, I would be mindful of perforating the material that guides the water away.
Much better to approach "slowly and carefully" from the vent side.
Will be obvious what you are looking for once exposed. There is a little rubber one way type flap where the crud accumulates over the years.
Once cleaned out, you will be good for the next 14 years.

As well as the drain Jason mentions being blocked, the body under the black bins has a drain, but they are stupidly narrow & can get blocked...reckon yours must be.  It doesn't do any harm to either yank them out with decent pliers, (I did) or push them out, as some do. There should be some plastic sheet material draped over the wiring to stop rainwater travelling along. The drain bags can leak too.
