I thinking about getting one of these but can't find out any details.
Anyone seen it or have an opinion?

Very nice...

I had a similar unit in my old '2, and would happily fit one again. Easily the best you can get for the money, and controls just about every function you could ever need direct from the head unit.

Ahh, just posted in anoother thread, I just bought / fitted one but the Glide Touch does not work "as expected". Other than that, it's a great head unit !

Hi Again;

OK, had enough have returned the 9855 today.

The Glide Strip is completely unusable unless your are stationary or riding in a Roller.

The Glide strip is 4 inches long, you have to glide the full width of the strip to index forwards or backwards on track,albub or playlist, it will take 100 glides to browse 100 albums, removing your finger at the end and gliding from left to right. if you go over a bump and your finger accidentally touches the glide strip it will select the track, and you will always have to start browsing from the first song again, it does not remember the last browsed.

I was unable to safely browse any songs using the glide strip whilst driving and simply gave up. Other than that it's a nice head unit.

Completly unworkable in my opinion !
