Thats a hard one as they both look good.

The current one with the spats probably looks a bit more "special" though.

Its a bit hard to see the detail of the TTE one in black but I guess they are pretty rare so some plus points there.

Could you have both and swop over? I have 3 front bumpers myself!

If you went for it I reckon you'd need a 'silver' intake mesh.

Only down side is it doesn't come with any fog lights I'm looking into some kind of DRL to fit the 45mm dia hole

Thats better to make out the details.

Its a nice looking bumper but I would want some sort of spats or lip if it were mine.

I doubt there is anything like that available though?

Call the midlife!

I think the basic outer, bottom profile is the same as the PFL bumper so something like the PFL lip should fit I would imagine, maybe need a little trimming.

I have to say, I prefer the original with the spats, but your car, your choice!

There is no discussing taste.

Also there is the OEM tuning thing with anything TRD and TTE; perception of it is reality.

The objéctively positive of both is that it creates variety meeting preference and priority of many.

Yes. And no... Similar but not the same due to the differences in the bumpers. I should add I've nothing whatsoever to do with HZ Dynamics, just know they list it.

If you plan to contact HZ,I would ring them first rather than email.

The TTE is special so that would be my choice.

Illustrating the point I made.

In reality the only ´special´ bit is it being marketed through the TTE outlet.
Although TRD and TTE háve produced sóme tuning goodies, the bulk of the offering is thirteen in a dozen after market beads & mirrors.

Call the midlife!

I've never got my head around the angles on that bumper though, the sharp triangles/diagonals with the rest of the curves on the car. Not that I don't like it as a whole, just seems opposed to the rest of the styling.

The point is yes many mods are more cosmetic than functional even Toyota offered quite a Nr of Options sideskirts, front & rear spats, chrome pack and a variety of leather colours

Even today most Manufacturers have options lists as long as your arm to personalise new cars being bought

It's all about making the car yours it would be pretty boring if we all rocked up to Meets in standard OEM cars

Let's not forget that TTE *is* Toyota, it's part of Toyota Motorsport which is wholly owned and controlled by Toyota.

I actually think the OEM bumper looks better with the big fogs. I definitely see value in making each car a little unique, but I think @Bernie your car passed that point some time ago :D
