Seeing the picture I'm almost sure that the cable from the "footbrake" goes the stock handbrake connection under the center consol. I want to totally get rid of all cables.

It would seem that Honda have / had a problem with such a device,  tu maybe you can learn from their mistakes.

Hmm must be Honda, neither of the two cars standing in our driveway have had any problems with the EPB
