Despite much admonishment from your co members you chose to cast out that which had been in your care. That Foxy found a good new home is fortunate, for her and also for you so that you can start the path to repentance.
This tax demand is perhaps a sign for the future direction of your attention.
It is sometimes said " Third time lucky".
Maybe " Lucky" could be the name of your replacement 2 when the sun is again shining and the future is clearer.

I wonder if it as inefficient in respect to unpaid tax?
In my youth it was said that beer bottle labels and such like sometimes served to replace the windscreen sticker at much less cost.
Today my understanding is that Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR)is used to check, amongst other things, tax payment.
I also understand that this system is available in police patrol cars, at the roadside and in car parks. I know that ANPR works for sure in car parks.
I would like to think that this system will, if not already, be used to find and punish those that chose to drive without insurance, maybe add MOT to that as well.

I had a good 'make progress' run down from Petersfield to Goodwood several weeks back - an Audi A5 tried to lose me but failed miserably.

Im still shocked (in a good way) by how quickly the MR2 is through country lanes, I don't remember covering the ground so quickly and easily in my Boxster and def not in my Z3.

Talking of which 'Skye' hasnt been driven in a few months now so I really must get her ready for sale in the spring...lovely looking car esp in Estoril Blue but just not driver focused enough for me.
