I bought my mr2 about 6 weeks ago and it has done 36K.

I heard a knocking noise when i was driving home from work last friday and had it looked at to day and turns out i need a whole new engine.

There is knocking top and bottom end and low oil pressure.   s:oops: :oops: s:oops:

Sorry to hear what has happened to you, sounds like another pre-cat failure, hope that you get it sorted soon, where in Essex are you, what dealer has looked at it so far?

This is a completely different problem to Pre Cat failure.  I have now had three engines go and none of them had the stock header.
