I helped my daughter buy this car new in July 2007. It was first registered in Portway docks through Toyota in June 2006. We bought it with 7 miles on the clock from our local Toyota garage, Stourbridge. She needed a new car earlier this year so I bought it off her so she could help pay for a new car as she now has a child. It needed tidying up and I as I've worked on cars for last 60 years I decided to set to.

So it's an MR2 MK3 with hard top and air con. It's done only 50.297 miles.

Good points:-
1. Good MOT history. One failure but never any advisories.
2. No accident damage.
3. All original glass and panels.
4. No paintwork repairs.
5. Air Con works and has never been repaired or regased.
6. Soft top has been up only occasionally. I've checked it and it's like new.
7. Just had a new MOT oil change and filter.
8. Done in last 2 months whilst off road,
   All o2 sensors replaced.
   New front discs and pads.
New rear discs, pads and calipers.
   New serpentine belt.
   New Toyota fog lamps.
   Brake and clutch fluid flush.
   3 keys.
All original books and sales brochure all in good condition.
   New roof/A pillars seal.
Refurbed wheels by "Wheel Maniacs Tipton"
Bad points:-
1. I serviced after each MOT but never kept a written record.
2. Numerous light scratches and minute dings. Some visible in pictures.
3. Faded paint to horizontal parts of rear bumper and similar patch on passenger door.

Asking price £5,000
Collection and location in Stourbridge, West Midlands from my house.
Not advertised elsewhere.

More than fair price with a hardtop imho.
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Difficult to judge. Not many comparables about.

Would be interested to see more images of this car, where the paint imperfections are etc.
I could be interested depending on looking at these.
Thanks

Hardtop on its own is worth 1k.
As a June 2006 it's also going to be newer than some TF300 I reckon.

FYI, I work in the motor trade.
Date of registration is just that, it doesn't 'age' the car.

Some cars sit in consignment stock for over two years before they are registered.

Daryl.I enclose some more pictures and a picture of the registration details which may help to date the manufacture. I would have thought a home visit paint specialist could deal with these. There is a very slight crease in the passenger door, again repairable at home. Picture 4 shows the raded paint to the upper surfaces of the rear bumper panel.
I can keep the car for viewing if anybody wants to visit but all negotiations must be on this thread as per the rules.

Still for sale. Anybody interested/ Or should I leave until spring?

I don't think anybody is uninterested, it's more like it could take a while until somebody here needs one (replacement or 2nd/3rd car).

The price is good, and the car looks nice. Perhaps you should consider advertising elsewhere too.

Everything about this car appeals to me apart from the colour. You know us women, it's all about the colour. I am sure you will sell this no problem.

You could always wrap it, just sayin' ;)   It's a very forgiving colour and that shade certainly stays looking good compared to other shades within the MR2 world!
Ex owners of Chilli red facelift 52 reg called Chilli, silver 55 reg called Foxy and blue pfl W reg MR-S called Sapphire. Now 2 less!

Thanks for removing V5 pic.
