Roof rubber at back of the window

Last year I managed to bend the rubber piece which seals at the back of the window  , being a bit overzealous putting the roof down.
Up until now, it has just been bugging the heck out of me that I was so stupid.
Today, it came loose from the roof (no, I was being gentle this time).
So, is it worth me trying to straighten the metal insert, and put it all back together, or should I start asking breakers if they have anything in stock?
Or, is it simply a case of re-inserting the metal strip?
