This might sound like a stupid question but do you have to take off the rear bumper to replace the exhaust, i have a new one to fit myself and dont see quite how its going to come out from the top as it all looks a bit tight ??
is there a section any where on fitting a new one ??

it won't come out from the top

it will come outr from teh bottom

it's easier with teh bumper off though

When I removed (and everntually refitted!) my remus exhaust, I took the rear bumper off and then also the thick rear chassis bar off to get the easiest access to the engine bay.  The problem comes when trying to thread it out, but if you had the car high enough it should be a lot easier to drop out the bottom..

I always take it through the rear...above the collision protection bar (whatever it's called). It comes through quite easy once you figure it out.
Sure you can live without 500hp, but it\'s languishing.

Probably the best bit of advice is to have a large supply of PlusGas to unsieze all the (undoubtedly) siezed bolts.. (Well, ok, not the best bit, but..)

I didn't think I could get it under the bar and was too lazy to remove the anti roll bar. It took a while during first time, but now it takes like half a minute...

(can you tell it's been on and off quite a lot?  s:shock:  s:shock:  )

Well had a go and all went well taking the supports etc off the box, couldnt drop it out the bottom without taking off (or attempting to take off ) the second section to the manifold. End result, one stud removed no problem,  one sheared off and one that wont move a mill so now in its in my local garage waiting for the snapped stud to be taken out and for them to get the other out !! so much for saving a bit and doing it myself.
Stand bye for update on the bill, my guess is £50 to £80 !!
