Overheating problem

Just got my car taxed after being parked up for winter. I have no heat coming into car and engine is overheating. Also just noticed a small water leak coming from front of car. Plenty of coolant in tank. Any ideas?

Chief suspect in my experience is the radiator.
Remove front plastics and give the rear bottom left of the radiator a good looking at. It won't get better by itself. A replacement is not too costly. If long life coolant it is possible to clamp the two hoses and catch most of the coolant. I lost < 1 L doing it that way. If not ( fresh) long life take the opportunity to flush the system through and renew.

As above my money would be on a knackered radiator.

I have mentioned on here a problem I had with a Coolparts rad, when outside of warranty.
With reference to the photo of the part on eBay in the top left of the radiator can be seen a circular protuberance.
When fitted this must have been blocked off in some way. When out of  it's then 2 year warranty whatever was blocking it blew out and I lost all of my very new Toyota Long Life coolant.
I did speak with Coolparts but they claimed no knowledge of previous occurrence nor the area I was referring to.
 After being rescued by Start Rescue, I jubilee clipped  a short rubber hose onto the offending item and blocked the hose end with a plug and jubilee clip.
The rest of the radiator is now several more years past it's warranty.
