You might be luckier being in a more populated area, but I sold a red worth a lot more than yours mileage/condition/MOT wise & didn't even get £6k.

Well, thanks for the insight, though I'll take my chance with the 3 people coming to view the car over the weekend.

Body panel wise, sure, yours may have been better, mehanically and chassis tuning wise, I'd put this one up against most on here. (Having owned a 5 speed from new, a speed TTE from new and this one in my time, this is setup a hell of better than any stock MR2) As said, not selling from a want, more a need.

Deposit taken, given the chap a couple of weeks to put the car on hold for him, dropped me down to £6k so he could get the  bumper tidied up. So we will see how it goes.

Kinda hoping he pulls out so I can have the excuse to keep it and get a little run around for work like a old Yaris for £1k, similar to my Celica GT four a couple of years ago, I know I'll miss it when it's gone

Believe me, you will miss it! I still didn't learn even after the third time Mind you at that price, you did well.
