Hi everyone.

I've recently moved to Spain to live with my girlfriend, and was thinking about taking my cherished MR2 with me, as per this thread.
https://www.mr2roc.org/index.php?topic=73621.0

However, as I'm there without work for now, and my girlfriend would like to get married and start a family soon, although my heart says otherwise it makes sense to let go of my MR2, which is currently based at my parents in North Yorkshire. Exporting it would be around 2000 euros with the taxes and driving/ferrying it there, plus insuring it etc..

I have owned it since 2015, using it as a daily driver, with frequent longer motorway runs and days out to put it through its paces.

The first thing I did when I bought it was get the pre cats out, it doesn't use a drop of oil.

In the past few years the car has had:
New polybushes all round, for even sharper handling.
Regular oil, filter, spark plug changes.
All wheels refurbished last year, and without a mark on them.
New set of rear Falken Ecorun tyres with a few hundred miles on them.

I'm on good terms with my local, very reputable mechanic, I buy the items and he fits them for a handful of notes. After Toyota quoted me £700+ for a radiator, but he supplied and fitted the OEM one for £150, I've avoided Toyota and used him exclusively. I never envisaged selling the car, so I was unfussed about stamps etc, but I can provide order confirmations etc for the parts I've ordered myself.

The car has never let me down, the only things I've had go 'wrong' have been a couple of yellow engine lights due to O2 sensors, but each time I got the offending item replaced with a Denso original and all was well.

The hard top has a couple of scratches in it, as does the rear drivers side panel and rear bumper from shopping trollleys. ::)  I will upload some photos of them if anyone is interested.
It has black leather seats and at the moment non-functional aircon sadly. Advisories at last MOT for handbrake efficiency (which seems a common thing) and the generic under car surface rust, my mechanic has wire brushed and waxoyled it.

I was thinking in the region of £3500 would be a fair price given what's on Autotrader, I suppose you guys will let me know if that's too high or low.

Here are a couple of not particularly good pictures, I can provide more if anyone is interested.

Despite the posts and history on here. I always feel covering the plate puts people off.
People like to look up MOT history etc.

Might help with the sale.

I do agree, in reality a car is driven on the highways and byways and all can see the plates.

Edited first post to include plate, thanks for the feedback.

Car sold and collected today!
A sad day for me, but the car will be in very good hands and should be gracing racetracks in future!
