Roof wear

A small split has occurred in the soft top at the center just above the rear screen. This seems to have been caused by the metal tang above the latch that holds the roof down. The tang rubs against the inside of the soft top as it's operated.
Anyone else experience this ?

Well, it's done very well to only start cracking now.  Most of the vinyl roofs are long gone!

Time to make an appointment at Jack Smith's Trimmers in Swansea perhaps?
