Evening,

apologies if this is in the wrong section and has been asked to death!

So today the mrs got home from work and said the car wasnt locking off the fob....
Ive checked that the battery is ok and swapped for a known good battery, as well as attempted to re-sync using the " key in, door open etc!" procedure, however that hasnt worked after a few attempts.

I noticed the LED on both of her fobs doesn't illuminate, however I wonder after all these years that the LED itself is goosed?

This all happened after a cold snap last night...ive ran a test on the cars main battery and its coming back as good and the internal anti-hijack lock/unlock works as it should

Anything that Im missing?

Thanks in advance!

I've just had a bit of bother with mine, first on several cars in 8 years, but mine was only the locking switch that was a problem. The actual switches & circuitry are housed in a rubber surround, get a fingernail or jewellers screwdriver under an edge & peel apart.  Use switch cleaner (WD40 might do) & dowse the switches & operate them whilst doing so.  A close look at the battery contacts to check for dirt too.  Good luck.
