Hi all

Looking for a bit of advice.

I know it's a bit subjective I'm not that keen on the Rotas that came with the car.

I've picked up a set of standard five-spoke wheels. They're in need of a refurb. I'm really not sure what colour would suit a Sable.

I was thinking possibly gold or bronze or white.

I've never had white wheels before. I'm not sure if the upkeep is worth it.

The rear calipers seem to generate a huge amount of brake dust, I have a day off this week so I'm going to have a look at the the sliders on the brakes and lube them up, if I go for white at the minute I'll be cleaning the wheels after every drive.

I was not planning on doing loads of modifications but you know how these things go.

Picture of the car at MR2 day for reference

Can't see white on a sable. On a blue car, yes.

As there is gold and bronze in the paint, it could work, but would have to be the right shade.

Being vanilla, I struggle to see past a fresh oem silver. Just works for me.

Black or silver for me

There is an extensive thread on this subject showing all of the OE body colours with many of the colours that Members and others have changed their wheels too.

White would not be my choice.

Thank you

I've just ordered white for my blue car, wouldn't work on sable. On a sable I would have them a very light gold light Porsche white gold and then do the calipers in dark blue
