After years away I'm looking for an MR2 project.

Due to lack of driveway it has to be MOTed and roadworthy but that's about it (although would prefer dry too!)

@utterclaroty
My silver 2002 is utterly roadworthy but I do not drive it any more. Taxed until end of September , MOT until 25.03.26.
Ready to drive away , I would want £2000.

Didn't expect such a speedy response!

Car looks really tidy and price is about right too. Only fly is distance, I'm down in Canterbury - where abouts in Warwickshire are you?

Location is B504FF , between Stratford on Avon and Evesham.

Ok, that might take a bit of arranging. Leave it with me

Thank you for the consideration, let me know your thoughts.

Dig a little deeper in to the history in here and the price is very much about right. As in chuffing bargin.
Welll documented in here what work has been done.

The car is ideal, it's the location that is causing the problem. I did look at having it delivered but that's an additional £500. Otherwise, getting there relies upon the co-operation of my partner, which I am having some difficulty negotiating as she is dubious of the whole enterprise ("what do we need another car for?")

Get the train up / down and drive it home.
Small man syndrome? Not me, I'm 5' 5" AND A HALF!

+1    I've done it a lot farther than that.  Checking prices, Stratford is cheaper.

I don't know Joesson, but he's a stalwart on here,  read the threads on his car, ask any question you can think of to the point you are certain you'll buy it.

Get him to bring it to the train station, & if you don't want it, back on a return train probably in time for tea.

Joesson

Nearest Railway Stations are : Evesham,  Stratford on Avon, Stratford Parkway and Warwick Parkway.
Any questions, please ask away.

 8)  you have a deal. Not sure when I can get there so would you take a deposit to secure?

@utterclarity
I accept your offer of £2000.
I suggest a deposit of 10% / £200 to secure.
As above the car is Taxed until 30.09.25 (next Tuesday), MOT until 25.03.26 (and insured until 1.04. 26). Mileage remains at 68340.
I will need to either put the car on SORN or renew on Tuesday, we can discuss details  on here.
Thank you in anticipation.

utterclarity

Excellent, if you DM me your bank details I'll transfer the deposit

Joesson

@utterckarity

PM sent.

Joesson

Deposit received, thank you.
