I have for sale my Toyota MR2 Roadster (Mk3) fitted with a 2ZZ-GE engine and Supercharger from a Corolla T-Sport Compressor (including ECU) rated at 218 PS and 214 Nm.

Provisionally sold.

The 2ZZ engine transforms both the drive and performance of the Roadster with the supercharger adding top end power but more importantly, substantial torque throughout the rev range. It's a great drivetrain package for this car and with only around 1 tonne to propel, it's a quick car, even by today's standards.

This is also a relatively rare aircon model.

The car was originally converted by Rogue Motorsports using quality parts such as PPE exhaust manifold and cat pipe, high flow cat, Rogue twin back box exhaust system (motorsport compliant) and BMC CDA induction kit. Engine ECU from the donor vehicle.

Upgrades since have included Tein springs and KYB dampers.
Brakes are in a very good state with little wear.
Engine itself has been recently replaced (c 90k miles) with renewed intake cam, timing chain & tensioner.
Supercharger serviced (SC oil refreshed), gearbox oil, engine oil & filter, coolant and new aux belt fitted.
New MAF also installed and correct spark plugs for SC engine (lower temp NGK IFR7G-11KS).
Coils were all replaced with Denso OEM circa 5 years ago.
SC pipework all replaced with silicon hoses around 3 years ago.
So, mechanically in very sound condition with no significant service work scheduled for some time.

Tyres are Yokohama Advan AD08RS in correct sizes and with around 2k miles on them so still excellent.

The aircon condenser radiator was replaced around 3 years ago and O rings replaced. The system has just been regassed and passed the vacuum checks with no issue whatsoever.

Roof is original and in decent condition with no leaks.

The bodywork is in nice condition for the age with no apparent rust on any panels. The rear quarter panels, which can be prone to corrosion in the lower area, are in excellent, rust-free condition and treated against corrosion.
The rear subframe has been replaced and remains in excellent condition.

The car runs beautifully with no warning lights on the dash and fairly recent MOT (end July) with no advisories.

Car will be supplied with the original steering wheel. (Steering wheel and boss may be available separately).

Long MOT due 30th July 2026.

These cars rarely come up for sale (I've not seen a single SC version since I purchased this car 4-5 years ago) and even fewer in this condition.  Don't miss a great opportunity to buy a rare and cherished sports car!

Location is Stoke Hammond, MK17 9LW.

My partner has one.  It'll be interesting to see what this fetches.

Yep - we've been in contact a few times about SC clutches and stuff etc. I'm only aware of yourself and Dick Sloan with a SC engine so not many about. Just read the post again and it reads a bit patronising for the forum. I've just copied and pasted from the eBay listing. ::)

Apologies, I didn't remember your Username.

I didn't read every word, but what I did read ok, - & I'm quite critical of F'book posts.
Question, the battery is in 'back-to-front' & the pos & neg leads opposite.   Is there a reason why?

The usual earth connection broke off so when the engine was fitted and they've set it up that way for the cables to all reach. Think it could be improved but works fine so I've just left it.

As is my usual suggestion for such situation, it is best to try to get the attention of the Seller by mentioning the name as one n post #7 and like so:

@Kev6107 The car was off sale over the winter and then back on Ebay at the beginning of the month. I've taken a deposit on the car over the weekend so its now sold subject to balance being received this coming weekend.
