2006 MR2 Blue only 25k miles!

2006 super low mileage MR2 in blue.

I also have a 2003 Sable car that I've owned since new as documented in other posts.

I realised a few years ago after test driving a 718 Boxster that what I really wanted was a new standard MR2 so I searched for the best condition standard car I could find.

I intended to keep this blue car forever  but I have 4 other cars and want to free up some space so that I can try a V8. The fleet is a bit Japanese heavy at the moment with 3 x Toyota, a Nissan and a Honda!

I bought this based on condition. The previous owner had a full service at Toyota in 2019 when he bought it and I have had serviced it annually since 2020 at trusted local garages. The history before my ownership and the previous owner is sporadic and it spent most of its life stored in a garage and used sparingly. The  history backs this up.

Last serviced in December 2025 and MoT until 10 December 2006.

The roof is in great condition and the headlights are clear.

I had the wheels refinished when I bought it and a full set of new Toyos fitted.

There's a few marks on it but it presents very well for a 20 year old car.

The advisories on the MOT are the wishbones surface corrosion the arms. I looked under it with the MOT tester.  It's a 20 year old car and I couldn't find one without some corrosion. The brakes have surface rust but work great. The front discs and pads were replaced at Toyota less than 3,000 miles ago.

The price is lower on the forum than elsewhere. It's a great car and is priced accordingly. This isn't the usual cheap unloved MR2. The only one I've seen better is Bernie's old car. This is a great original standard car.
