2ZZ Guinea Pig wanted

Hi all,

I have very kindly been sent a modified cluster which revs past 8K RPM, however the rev needle is bouncing when changing gears. My stock one doesn't do that.

Does someone with a 2ZZ want to test it out if I post it to them, to determine if the issue is with the cluster or not?

The mod is purely software, doesn't involve modifying the cluster. If your stock one doesn't do this, that means the tach signal is good.

Most likely the motor or some electronic circuit in the new cluster is not working properly.

My modified 2zz cluster works fine.

I almost certainly agree with the above, however in the interests of testing, I'd still like someone to try it out to absolutely confirm.

Also, the 9K RPM tach is just sitting in my garage doing nothing, so I'd like someone to make use of it at least.
