Hard brake lines- options?

So- if we need to replace the brake lines due to them no longer being non leaking.. What are the options?

There's no where in the UK that I can see that sell them? Tried ringing TCB but their phones don't seem to connect anymore..

Is it basically a case of remaking them myself?

That was the conclusion I came to. Short of getting them from Toyota.
I bought a big roll of copper tubing, connectors, bending tool and flaring tool...then never did it LOL

Hold up.. .just had a chat at my old work "classic autos".. they suggested using AN lines!
Basically some of the race cars use them and in "theory" there is a degree more "squish" - but for a road going car it's absolutely fine. There is a higher cost, but where the skill of flaring and bending etc is lacking, this may be the ticket.

I remember a local motor factors near to me would make brake lines. You could take in the old one and they'd make a new one there and then at the counter. That might worth checking one out near you.

There's also Hyphose in the Poole, Southampton and Portmouth areas that can make brakes hoses. The bus company I work for uses them.

Huh.. I guess as long as you can wangle them in and out you're OK! Might call around to see if anyone local to me does that.

My local mechanic entirely remade mine last year as they were expiring.
I don't get the impression it's a job that a decent mechanic can't do.

Sorry, went away for the weekend 
Weirdly, I can't actually find the bill for it, which is not like me - I'm normally meticulous, because I always want to know what has and hasn't been done.

I'll see if I can find it. It was a lot of money though.
I had a whole pile of stuff done – callipers replaced (I provided brand new ones), brake lines remade, bled and so on. Most of it was labour (until we get the drive done, I'm struggling to work on the car).
