Hi all

After Toyota changed my rusty brakes, I'm getting a lot of noise when I brake. I don't remember this from before the change, but I wanted to check if anyone else has this problem before I hassle Toyota about it.

The nose is a mid-range frequency scraping sound.

Regards

I'm pretty sure they didn't.

would be a good starting point as the pads will now have high and low points on them and brakes will now be generating more heat due to this. Perhaps this could be causeing the squeeling/scraping noise

probably not that then, try taking the pads out and cleaning them, if i remember right the front ones are clipped in and the back ones need an allen key

I'm staring to get a scraping and slight sqeal from I think the front offside wheel either when I make a left turn or brake. The rust on the discs is currently very bad and I wonder if some has maybe jammed under the pad. Wonder if its worth hitting Toyota again regarding the poor state of these  s:? :? s:?
