What is the key switch on the floor???

On my old alarm the _panic_ function, which you guys are describing, came from  holding a button down for x time.

However on my new on I havent a clue. with the roof down sometimes the alarm beeps. but never with the roof up. Same button same sequence etc    :s

Who knows.....

Yep, 1st click locks, 2nd deadocks, 3rd disables the movement sensors.

The lock on the floor is just for the fuel cap and engine cover levers.  It exists for the same reason the bonnet lever is in the glove compartment...
