HELP Immobiliser Type and Make for 04?

Hi Everyone,

This is my first post, although i think i must have spent many a lunctime hour reading through the posts on here.

I have just picked up my '2 on Saturday its a 04, astral black and having the dual exhausts and air con fitted today as part of the deal.  So im like a kid waiting for christmas at the moment.

One question i have is, i have just setup a new insurance policy with Adrian Flux which was by far the cheapest quote i got.  Although they have asked me to send a photocopy of my immobiliser certificate and type and make to them within 14 days.  Trouble is i never got an immobiliser certificate with mine.

Does any one know what type and make the immobiliser is and what category they are?.

AFAIK, then the 04 still comes with the same type of alarm/immobiliser as the uk models have always done straight from the factory - a Toyota TVSS IV-D.

From memory, most alarm places will accept factory fitted alarms without certificates - i think it was only for aftermarket/3rd party fitted jobbies that they needed proof that it conforms to the thatcham standards...
