Bonet open detect switch

I noticed a pop up switch inside the bonet. I assume it tells the car if the bonet is open.

Anyone know wether it makes a circuit when its open or breaks one ?

At what voltage might that be ?

yeah its the alarm one Phil, fraid i havn't got a meter at home with me or i'd check it out for you, chances are its battery voltage and a normally closed switch though but i cant say for sure

I know  s;) s;)  Just wasn't sure if philster was asking what happens when the switch is open or the bonnet.
