So.... Following my many topics relating to the dodgey top end rattle that I now have. IE.

Having had a good look at it myself and taken it to my normal garage, we have come to no conclusion. They just wanna start replacing parts and keep going till its fixed. Surely not the best way.

Anyone know of a really good garage in the South West that actually knows about Toyota engines and can really sort the problem out for me, not just replace every moving part ? I am situated in Torquay.

A real garage would stick a stethoscope or similar onto the block while the engine is under load to determine where the problem is coming from.
