I can't remember who it was, Darth Paul, who had this problem?

I needed my console off, so took this piccy:

I had the same problem when I re-assembled. You can see the metal bar coming down has the ends of a spring fitted either side of the bar. Each end will push the lever back into  3 - 4 neutral position.

When I re-fitted first time round both these prongs were on the same side of the bar, and self centreing didn't happen. Put them on either side, and its OK.

Whoever it is, if this is still a problem, hope this helps.

DP, take your cover off and compare it to that pic, you should see the difference  s;) ;) s;)

It should also be quite obvious when you move the stick and see what's actually happening. I first put mine together the same way and it didn't center, but it was easy enough to notice what's the issue.
Sure you can live without 500hp, but it\'s languishing.

Just in case...its those two "prongs" sitting either side of the bar in the picture. You will probably have both of them on the same side. If they are on opposite sides, you have another problem   s:wink:  s:wink:
