little flaps missing from drain holes

the little ruber flap/cover things are missing off of my drain holes that sit behind the scoops. when the top is up I hear some wind noise but I don't know if it's because air is shooting up through the drains or if it's just the convertable top sounds louder than a hardtop. what are the point of those things anyways?

More seriously, I think they are there just to prevent the wind. Someone here mentioned that on earlier post about these. Of course always the other chance that a snake might crawl up the pipe in your car s:roll: :roll: s:roll:

Yes it would do as the air is driven through the intakes and will naturally flow up through the drain vents; the flaps you are missing prevent this from occuring s:wink: :wink: s:wink:

Yep was me who mentioned that i'd pulled one off only to find a increase in wind noise in the cabin.

I lucky enough had the flap still and with a bit of man handling managed to get the spout off and replace the flap.

I suggest you ask adam if there are any right off's about to see if you can salvage some.
