Ariel wont go down

please help, ariel wont go down, its as though not connected as no sound from motor trying to put it down, if i cant get it down by tonight where i live it will get snapped off, please help as ive tried pushing it down

Dont force it or you might break gears and stuff.

On the mk2 the plastic whip could break but it still made noise, I would try and check the electrical connections are ok.

Also is there a fuse somewhere for aerial power ? anyone

just had a look at the manuals and theres 2 fuses for the radio and antenna, not sure which ones which or location, but a good place to start is in the gap when you open the passenger door, you'll find a panel with fuses behind it.

1 fuse is a 15Amp and the other 7.5Amp

Has it just stopped working or has it not worked since you've had the car? Can you think of anything thats happend recently that might be affecting it??
