Im considering getting toyota to fit the double exhaust that they supply;
a.so not to invalidate the warranty
b.because im insured with toyota and they say as long as its a toyota accessory fitted by toyota they will accept the modification.
has anyone had this double exhaust fitted and has it enhanced the sound of the car and offered any performance gains ?????

Search again,

tte AND exhaust

pages and pages. Overall verdict - good , but not as good as the H&S offering.

Fitting your own exhaust will not invalidate the warrenty. Just the warrenty on the exhaust you have fitted. Its only invalid if the exhaust you have fitted damages the car/engine in some way. Since fitting mine, I have has both rear light clusters and all alloys replaced under warrenty.

just tell them it was another Toyota garage that fitted it, they never check. Fitted mine myself and already got new clamps on order where the old ones have rusted, they seemed quite happy about it

I've found a TTE exhaust, £495 + VAT. How does this sound? I'm not too sure what price i'd should be looking for.

Might pay him a visit tomorrow, the one i found seems a bit expencive. Does it give a noticable performance increase or is it just looks and sounds?
