I bought my brand new MR2 1 year ago and it is booked in for its first service next week. I have never done more than 10,000 miles a year before owning this car. It has just occurred to me that by the time it is serviced next week, the car will have done 13,000 miles (I changed jobs 9 months ago - more milage).

I believe the service intervals are 1 year or 10,000 miles, whichever is sooner. Obviously I have well exceeded the milage. Does any know if this will affect my warranty? If I have another service done before 20,000 miles would this put everything right?

dont worry Dave they give you a few thousand miles lee-way on this one after all you could have gone away for a couple of weeks on a driving holiday and done that much over the 10K, dont worry, they wont cancel your warranty

13000 is well over - most allow up to 1000 leeway, some 500.  It could bite you in the backside if something fails in the engine at any time during the warranty - a CTR owner had this with the dealer saying "it wasnt serviced according to the schedule" speech.  Worth asking the dealer to let you know in writting, if poss, that this won't happen to you.
Official - old git alert. 42 years old!
Facts  are meaningless - they can be used to prove anything.
