Has anyone had any servicing carried out by Rogue Systems (MR2 specialists)? Were you satisfied? I have asked for a quote for a service but was slightly concerned when they asked whether my cambelt had been changed yet...

While I can't comment the question you're specifically asking, Patrick is a *very* long-standing member of the MR2 community (mainly on IMOC-UK and also one here too) and personally owns/ed several mk2 and mk3 MR2s. I've known him for at least three years now. As far as I know all his business is by word of mouth - therefore I wouldn't expect any unsatisfied customers.

If Rouge knew someone had asked you that stupid question he would be extremly upset as he knows all Mr2s inside out.
Perhaps you should PM him (Patrick) as to why you were asked this  w www.roguesystems.co.uk/static/home.aspx w

I am now I've moved to deepest darkest Dorset - the roads to work are most definately '2 country, and with Martin 15 minutes up the road, I might just be tempted back to something with only 2 seats  s:twisted:  s:twisted:

Anyway back on topic, having spent a few Saturday's at Rogue Systems, I certainly can't fault the work they do. The most important thing is they are passionate about things being right, and if they aren't then they wont stop until the problem has been fixed.

I think there may have been crossed wires when you were asked about the cam-belt - most of their work is on MkII's and it is a standard question asked whenever anyone contacts them for service.

Please dont let this slip put you off getting them to service your car - it will be treated with the utmost respect and the work will be second to none (unlike some of the main dealers  s:evil:  s:evil:  )
