Does anyone know if the O2 sensors can be switched off using the commander?  I was told it can be done but maybe only with a datalogit.

Also how do you initiate the self learn process?  My idle has been hunting.

Yes you can you just have to turn o2FB off in the settings menu

The self learning is done by leaving the car idle for 10mins then 10 mins with the lights on than 10 mins with the AC and lights on.

Hope that helps.

The PFC manual for Honda Civic version and I think RX-7 version says defroster but doesn't mention lights.  E/L stands for Electrical Load and evidently the defroster on is a big load.

Sure you can live without 500hp, but it\'s languishing.

So you don't physically need to activate the self learn you just turn the engine on?

Also, where in the settings is O2FB?

I forget which tab... one of the Settings tabs.  Look for O2 F/B.  Uncheck the box to disable O2 feedback.  Self-learn happens automatically when it sees the different conditions for some length of time.  Manual says 5 minutes each condition, but I doubt that's necessary.  I think it self-learns idle all the time.

02F/B -> in ETC, it's in jap on my PFC (ari/nashi) to activate / deactivate

also, for self learning, you just start the car and leave it

every time at a stop, the power fc 'learns'

1st : all electrical load off
2nd : some electrical load (defroster, lights, what you want that draw power)
3rd : heavy electric load : defroster + lights + AC... all you can turn on !
