Ive been told by Mr T that my camchain tensioner housing has an oil leak, and they have quoted £75 to fix it. There is no gasket apparently, its just sealed with instant gasket.

Ive had a quick look through the older posts and it doesnt seem to be a rare occurance, but my question is; has anyone fixed this themselves and how hard is it to do?

what oil weight are you usuing?

at the minute its whatever toyota put in during the service in december, prior to that it was 5w-40. However i did get an advisory about 5 months back that there was a slight weep
