Quiet alarm????

Iv noticed that the when the alarm goes off on my 2, that its not very loud.  Are they quite quiet in general or do you think i could have a fault?

mine is quiet, but what do alarms do these days!!

you hear an alarm these days and you just ignore them.. as long as there is a immobiliser im not fussed.

its just a quiet alarm..

They are all like that.

You can take it out from under the spare tyre and re-fit on a bulkhead. Some have done that. I haven't, but during a chat with my insurers they confirmed they would have no problems with that, not even reportable, UNLESS any changes are made from OEM. Then they will want details, and chance to veto it even, if they think its been downgraded.

try takeing the spare tyre out and setting it off, i guarantee you'll go deaf, unfortunatley leaving it out affects the handling so make sure you put it back

I bolted mine onto the outside of the front bin, easy job, took 5mins.  Alot louder now.  The future owner will be most pleased.   s:roll: :roll: s:roll:
