The wheels are nice; the only thing that is along with the colour. Those lights are just sooooooo oversized  s:shock:  s:shock:

It is the VM180.

Designed by the Italian design firm Zagato and built by Toyota Modellista International in late 2000 through early 2001 after months as a concept (some even belived that it was to be the 2003 Roadster), it made its first appearence at the 2001 Geneva Motorshow in March of that year. The VM180 had a production run of just 180 and all these cars were sold exclusively on the Japanese market.

The engine produced 150bhp.

By the looks of the photos at the top of this thread, that is one going through the importing process.

BTW the Zagato styling team are tops....have a look at what they produced after the VM180

To be honest I'm not too sure about the latest Zagato cars..whilst the earlier era cars could never be described as really beautiful IMO they had a cohesive look to them..the new Aston's seem a bit like they took a zagoto design cue and threw it at the car and left it where it stuck.

The lights on the back of the DB7 look like they came off the Lancia Flaminia and were just grafted on..The Ian Callum front just doesn't gel with the Zagato back IMHO

Can't beat an SZ!

Don't mind the Mr2 zagato but agree with you Mike on the DB7 - hasn't really added anything. Normal DB7 GT is nice (I know it's not Zagato) but DB4 GT Zagato is smooth - now that's how the job should be done.

This went up for auction last night.  Did you buy it Dan?

BTW power quoted on this one was 200.  Their report refers too Apexi so I presume it is turbo'd

Nah, it kinda scared me!   s:wink:  s:wink:
Surprised to hear it's an official model.

I'm still getting to grips with the auction process - I need to figure out how to gleam information like Apexi from the reports  s:wink:  s:wink: , last nights auctions were the first I got from Auto square. Not sure when I'll take the plunge!  s:? :? s:?

Yes indeed! Why don't they make engines like that anymore? I saw an SZ in maidenhead last year for about 27k..if I hadn't quit my job i would have been very tempted (well in my head anyways)  As soon as I have enough money for a 'Toy' car thats it.  Nice pics by the way..are they the original production run or rennovated?
