We've taken the wing off our '2 now. Decided it did look a bit silly!   s:oops:  s:oops:
The idea was to have loads of body kit fitted eventually so the wing would have looked nice, but we've just bought a house so body-kit is out of the question now.   s:x :x s:x

Anyway, to the point... what would you guys expect to have to pay to have the holes filled in the boot/bonnet lid (the back bit) where the wing was attached? It will also need dents taken out of it where the wing has left some bowing of the metal and obviously it will need re-spraying either in part or in full?

What do you think, oh ye gods of '2s?   s:( :( s:(

Might be worth a chat with Jonboy, as he has exactly the same problem, and may have already looked into this. Personally, I think you will probably be better off finding acomplete decklid at a breakers, there seems to be a few '2s about now... try Jap GT300 (Adam) as well, as he has some coming in from Japan.
Even if it has to be painted, it will still most likely work out cheaper than a repair - once repaired they would have to paint it again anyway.

I had kerries repaired and sprayed for £100, although this was by a mate.  I wouldn't pay more than £200 though.

I do have two spare decklids coming over however these both have holes where Wings were removed as well   s:roll:  s:roll:

£100 is about right but that was a quote to fit a proper spoiler as well.i did look into getting a replacement decklid but they are few and far between as most are rear end smashes and the lids were damaged.
the only downside is that the tiny dents would not be able to be removed as they have been impressed into the metal but a full rub down and respray would cover them up.hope this helps???  s:lol:  s:lol:

Thanks for all who replied... have been moving house and not had the chance to check out responses. Anyway £100 seems to sound sensible so I'll keep that as my budget.

Cheers all!  s:D :D s:D
