Well, it's happened. My '2 went to the dealer Friday morning to swap head units (so I could retain the Sony). So Thursday night was the last time I drove it.  s:cry: :cry: s:cry:  VERY SAD.

My eldest drove us to the dealer Saturday morning. Glorious sunshine and the car outside in pride of place. WOW!!  s:shock: :shock: s:shock:  I was dumbstruck. The colour – sable – is beautiful. It shimmers in the sunlight.  s:o :o s:o  And the TTE exhaust, and the TTE spoiler, and the bodykit, and the custom leather...

I loved my old car no longer.  s:lol: :lol: s:lol:  

A couple of quick piccies...




I'll post piccies of the interior at a later date. The leather btw is the same as Perry190's. I also got 'em to pain the instrument cowl sable.

I'm in love again, tra-la-la!  s:lol: :lol: s:lol:

Bloody hell...that ...is...gorgeous...The bodykit looks awesome! Is there anything left to do it? It's coming out of the garage modded brilliantly..j spec badges...painted instrument cowl...TTE..spats..thats going to take some beating Darth!

having seen it today, nice to meet bioth Paul and Bev at last.

it looks even better in the flesh. All it needs now is those lowering springs  :-) :-) :-)

I'm gutted.  Having been the only Sable at the mids meets since last September-ish, I pull in to the meeting place for Sunday's mids meet and see - well DP's new wheels  s:shock: :shock: s:shock:   s:roll: :roll: s:roll:

I have to say (and I am biased about the colour) it did look the look the absolute business. And then there was the interior, which was very, very nice.  To think I was considering an S2K because of it's black and red insides  s:oops: :oops: s:oops:   that's another thing - if MrT wants to know how  to do specials properly, he should come to some meets. Roadster Red or a "DP special"? Tough that one ... NOT! (-er- DPs, if you hadn't guessed)
