I'm pretty blasé about gadgets and tech, but it's an impressive device.

The videos on youtube are of a seriously lesser quality than the recorded footage; the 1080p which it records in is crystal clear and sharp when played on my 42" home TV - amazing really.

There were a few mk2 Mr2s there in Tuesday. By chance, I came across most of them within a couple of laps. The red race car was quick, need to get some coilovers to help keep my corner speed up a bit!

Not a performance mod, but today I got this headunit and dab adaptor from halfords for the amazing price of £42.99 !

It means I can now listen to my iPhone music, charge my phone, and listen to the radio on my journeys to and from tracks  s:) :) s:)

Scrub that, it's about 1/3 the weight of the old one, so I'm claiming it as a performance mod too.

Must say for £40, it's an absolute bargain. I'd be pleased at twice the price to be quite frank!

Again, nice and smoothly driven, especially at 2:33, real economy of steering lock; nice to see.

You will absolutely love having a 2ZZ, it adds a whole new dimension to the car, without in any way detracting from anything else.

I'm probably doing a trackday at Castle Combe next Friday (22nd Aug) if you are around.

Cheers Alex, normally not enough power to get a on throttle slide going, but i'm sure that will change with a 2zz behind me!

Bad timing for me i'm afraid; I am doing a Europe trip in our 350z Roadster next week, and will be at Spa for the F1 that weekend..... such is life  s:D :D s:D

Back from holiday now - the Mr2 fun can continue!

Track day wise;
I've got Goodwood coming up on Saturday 20th September.   s:bounce: :bounce: s:bounce:    s:bounce: :bounce: s:bounce:  

Before then I need to do an oil change using the trusted Titan Race Pro S 5w40 from OPIE oils.

Modification / Upgrade wise;
I've got the car booked in with TR Lane Fabrication to make a roll bar like the hard dog design from the states;






If anyone reading this is interested in similar let me know because I will be asking the fabricator about making them available for general sale.   s:D :D s:D

Looking for some input please guys,

I think I want some graphics or wrap, or something to make the car look a bit more like a track car. But I have no idea what.

1) colour wrap?
2) racing graphics?
3) Nothing?

Ideas, thoughts etc welcome!

must admit, that is on my mind! if its got graphics all over it, people expect you to be fast. If you've just bought your "little mr2" onto a track day, it has more of an impact!   s:bowdown: :bowdown: s:bowdown:
