Great news Lee,maybe they have finally sorted the fitment issues, problem areas are normally a gap under the rear lights and gap between bumper/wings.

No gaps Andy,  the bumper and the side vents were made when I ordered, the side skirts and spoiler were off the shelf

Would it help to line the diffuser with some of that heat proof matting?

Bumper is on.... not wet n dry'd yet leave it another day.. but my spraying is getting better, no runs, no orange peel.. turned out really well.

The jdl is slightly higher in the middle so can't get the diffuser on over the cat... but after the weekend there won't be a cat there, so it can go back on later.

For god sake slow down.
Thats what the wife will be saying once you've that lot fitted.
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Ok, it's in, it runs, and it's a lot faster than I thought ...
runs like crap though, got some stuff to sort, p0100 comes on and stays on after first full boost. It's running way too rich, won't idle properly. Runs like crap at a constant speed,
But used the hass 2 map off the reference and adjusted the injectors back to standard as the map had 440cc injectors.
Think I will leave it for now and order a wideband afr meter.
not going to buy anything else for a while now. Want to properly finish everything I have already.

Any advice on mapping is welcome and any thoughts on that maf light too
like I said it only comes on after the first full boost after leaving the battery disconnected.  I can drive at low revs without it coming on.  And it stays on. It won't reset with a obd reader.

Pay someone to map it. I did my kit car with a wideband on the road, but it's impossible to hold it at high loads and get it right as it fired off down the road (over 260 bhp/ton). I took it to Bailey Performance when I couldn't get any further- he made a real difference in the mid range, much more drivable after. And much faster!

Ps- impressive work though, you really don't hang about

Madness! Where did you get the kit from? Intercooled or charge cooled?

We need more pics!!

The laptop I was using for the ecu died.... lol
Had just put on a map which I knew would over fuel. And was just about to adjust it.
I had to drive home 10 mile using more fuel than a jumbo jet. Used quarter of a tank to get home. It did not matter how careful I was I could see the needle moving.

There is no intercooling yet, it's the basic whifbitz kit.

Oh ok, new stuff, not used? Was it easy to fit?

Leethesparky

#191
It was really easy to fit. Once a oil return was fitted into the sump, the rest of it just bolted on.
Took only a few hours to fit it all.
Getting it to run right will take me a lot longer
didn't really want to pay for a map yet until I fit intercooling , injectors etc.

Ordered a new maf sensor today, can't get rid of that p0100 light. Must have damaged it swapping over.

It's already lowered with tein springs, 29mm on the front 30mm on the rear I think.

Hopefully maf sensor and afr meter should be here today so I can have a proper look.

Maf is in, took out the boost controller to keep it a low boost about 5 psi for safety. added the c2 map to my emanage. Added a timing map to it, changed a few settings to better match my setup.
Car is running perfect. And quick!!!

Afr gauge will be here tomorrow so see if I can take it back up to 7-8 psi when I can properly see what's going on. If it's pushing the injectors too much I will drop it back to what it is today, as I'm happy with it. It is sooooo much faster than the standard car.  :-) :-) :-)

7-8 is very likely more than a stock can do, I max the stock injector at 190 but that was NA
