Ok, little update..

Sprayed the front bumper and front wings, about 4 hours prep work to fill and sand imperfections but done it, and my spraying seems to be getting better..

The noise is a great big extractor fan I had fitted near the welding area, it's got a big hose thing so I can pull it above where I'm spraying, works really well.. And the workshop got a new really big compressor this week which I felt we needed for the tractor tyres   s:wink: :wink: s:wink:

Tomorrow I will build the front end back up, mesh the vent bits in the wings and fit the plastic inner arch bit in somehow. Fitting the plastic cover bit back in the arch will make the area not look so big and empty and should stop my wheels looking miniature. Ready for when they go out on the spacers, (which are on their way from Germany, and not cheap!)

Then if I have time will spray the bonnet and side skirts.

Your right mark... I've put the bumper back on and held a wing up, I am really please how it has turned out. Can't wait to see it all that colour. Just got to wait for the silicone to go off on the wing vents then I will bolt it back up. My boss is off today so I keep finding the odd half hour to do bits.

What type of mesh, where and how much did it cost? For the vent bits. Thinking of removing the plastic vents and adding mesh to mine, don't know what type of mesh/where to get it from. Worried it might deform if I get to thin of mesh.

Halfords £25 can get cheaper from eBay but I wanted it today .

Look at the bottom of page 1 on my thread, I did my side vents.

thats looking really good, loving that paint and it looks like a decent finish too. I'd go carbon for the fins on the sideskirts, I think it'll look good against that paint.

Very understanding of him. One of my ex gaffers threw a large hide hammer at me for stirring his tea with the coffee spoon, hed of had my knackers in a vice for working on my car during work hours. He was a massive pr1ck to be fair.

Lee the plate drop me a pm I know where the ideal plate is for £250 inc transfer fees etc. Its not a secret but obviously not going to put it up for the public as someone might beat you to it. the kit is a 300gt replica

Bonnet,  rear wings and side skirts done.

I'm going home to watch vikings now.   s:D s:D  

Back tomorrow morning to carry on. Not decided what to do next, carry on with back end or do the doors and round the windscreen. But whichever I don't do tomorrow,  I will do Sunday.
Hopefully by Monday night will be able to see the complete car.

Had confirmation today my wheels spacers are on the way, hopefully will be Monday. So next week will be fitting the arch linings and properly finishing everything.

Then need to look at my fueling, it keeps running a little lean until I go into open loop, I've already reset the ecu twice but I think it's the crappy position of my maf. Next on the list.
