COuld trim the plate down to the legal limits like it did  s:) s:)  think its lurking somewhere in my project thread, reminds me mines like 8 months out of date...

I did this as well to improve airflow through the rad and chargecooler rad, looks a lot better and still legal.

I really like the purples, but I am not feeling the greens so much.

Also, there are parts that I am not sure work with the flip. See below.



There are lots of patches, which for me kinda spoil the overall effect. Personally a solid primary colour would be awesome. Not that I am biased.  s;-) ;-) s;-)

The colour looks completely different in front of you, a tiny video does not do it justice.. The patches could also be where I have wet n dry'd the car but not polished it.
There are gloss patches and matt patches and smears of dry dirty water. It is far from finished.

I will hold off any more pics until it is completely done.

Thanks... But I'm probably best avoiding your "critique".. I'm not a perfectionist or a sprayer, panel beater, mechanic.
Nothing I have done is 100% perfect,  however I've probably saved a good 6k in doing everything on this car myself, and learnt stuff, and enjoyed working on it.   s:D s:D  
And I'm sure I will pass many more evenings and weekends bodging more stuff!

I personally think the greens go very well against the purples, the only things out of place are my brake calipers.

I should be able to make the dong day, I've expressed my interest on the thread.   s8) s8)

Lol.. just put the back end back together looked the nuts but had to take it apart again because I forgot the number plate lights.. doh
will take some pics later.

It seems like a short time but it's been a lot of hours, from 2 till 9 every day plus 8 till 8 ish sat and sun.
I reckon I will finish this week, which is my plan because this weekend is the last free weekend before my missus comes back. Plan to take it to brighton Saturday to visit my mum, and enjoy the car a little   s:D s:D

Has anyone got any idea what colour I should register this as?

I would register as blue tbh. that's the closet you will get?

Lol... I suppose I could leave the logbook as blue and see what happens.  If I get pulled up, I could ask the policeman as the car is purple green and blue.

Not sure what to do with the rear bumper yet. The actual gt300 car has a really high rear bumper. I've seen a rear diffuser for an impreza that goes all the way across under the exhausts with sticky out bits on it. I could modify one of those to fit.

Just register it as blue/purple/green chameleon that way there is no argument. Don't take chances with the plod anymore to many jobsworths not enough commonsense.
