Are you changing the rear bumper? or doing something to drop it down a bit so its level with the side skirts?

I would register as blue tbh. that's the closet you will get?

Lol... I suppose I could leave the logbook as blue and see what happens.  If I get pulled up, I could ask the policeman as the car is purple green and blue.

Not sure what to do with the rear bumper yet. The actual gt300 car has a really high rear bumper. I've seen a rear diffuser for an impreza that goes all the way across under the exhausts with sticky out bits on it. I could modify one of those to fit.

Yes the GT300 has the rear arches though cut out doesn't it? so the middle of the bumper is lower than the sides, which gives a lower middle look.

I wonder how that impreza would look. Would it even fit remotely? Lets have a look at what it looks like with the spacers and may look completely different and no need to do anything with the bumper  s:) s:)

To make it fit well i had/have a bracktet that sits the front mounts about 20/25mm lower.

I know you've done all the labour but how much do you think you've spent on paint and materials?

Everyone tells me "paint is very expensive" these days; but what is expensive?!

17" wheels mark.
about £500 for all the paint stuff but I've got enough left to do at least half the car again
30mm spacers dave my wheels are et35 so already 10mm out

The paint some how makes the kit look even wider, especially at the back, its got a phat a$$.

Just out of interest how much wider than standard is the rear ?

Now that's a wide rear! Excellent work. The rear arches have always seemed a bit strange to me with this kit. Hopefully you can fill it up.

Ok here's a few pics.

I've still got lots to do, the car needs flatting and polishing, and other little bits,
I've fitted the Impreza rear diffuser to fill out the rear it looks loads better.
I think the rear wheels could go out another 10 mm but I have got plans to change the rear tyres for 135/45 17. Which should fill up the arches some more

What width rims do you think you need to do the rear? 9"?  s:shock: :shock: s:shock:

I think it definitely needs 9" with 265 tyres, mine do look a little pathetic under there

I think eventually I am going to need bigger wheels , maybe 19" on the rear and 18" on the front but I think it is acceptable for now until I can afford some coilovers.

Cheers dave, but I think 60mm would be too big.
on the standard et45 I would just get away with it but I wouldn't want the wheels to stick out past the arches.
