Need to know what you've got. Some after market kits aren't as good as the standard system.
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Take off your filter box and the pipe between the box and throttle body, it will have a small pipe on it that goes to your cam cover, that's the breather..
The big silicone bit you have goes on the throttle body, the bent 90 degree bit goes in that silicone bit,
Put the small silicone pipe on The small sticky outy bit and use this to replace the breather pipe to the cam cover
Stick your maf sensor in the maf sensor hole on the Ali pipe, stick the air filter on the end,

This is my totally non professional installation guide from what I think after looking at the eBay pic

I strongly believe that this kit will not improve your performance.it will probably be slightly worse over stock.. But will defiantly sound faster... Which in my world is always a good thing!

Hmm maybe was a mistake then that I bought that lol,I don't want to lose performance damn it here..thanks for the help leathersparky but its too complicated for me,maybe cause of the language lol..that's why I asked if we could do with someone else from the forum cause I don't understand many things and I don't want to do any mistake

I agree with Lee.
You could install this yourself pretty easily and i belive it would sound nice.
However i think the the pipe is too short and you will be sucking in warm air instead of nice cold air from the standard intake pipe.

I bought that kit last year. Sounded great for about 10 seconds, then started messing about and stalling. Eml message was wrong air temp, I think.
Ended up throwing it away, and sticking with stock. Hope you have better luck with it!!

Lol.... my phone has a mind of its own,   s:D :D s:D

On a relevant note though, I have a k&n induction kit for sale in the ads bit, I will take offers on it. The k&n puts the filter further away next to the expansion bottle and comes with a little heatshield ... which is not perfect but better..  It sounds great and I believe made the car a bit more responsive,  but that may have been my imagination as it sounded growly   s:D :D s:D

anything unshielded is always a bad idea. Even making a shield yourself makes little sense in comparison.

Just keep the filter etc, and run it behind the battery, close to the firewall, cooler air, personally i think its louder there, ask josh, he could hear it sucking in air as i revved the car  s:) :) s:)  mine cost me all of 35quid lol

To fit it, you are only removing parts not changing anything... So it can easily be put back to standard,
It is probably 15 minutes work at the most to fit it, so not a big problem.

I don't think you will have a noticeable loss of power. I think it will end up close to your exhaust but It's worth sticking it on just to see as its a quick easy job..

You could easily modify the aluminium pipe by cutting off the 90 degree bit then with another bit of silicone and a bit of pipe redirect it behind the battery to the side vent.

I can help you fella, I'm in Callander near Stirling. Sunday's usually my best day for spare time but let me know when you wanted to come over and I'll try work around you, glad to help. On a personal note, by the time you paid to get that installed by a garage plus the original cost you wouldn't be far off an apexi kit, I love mine  s:) :) s:)

I'm running a pipe like this one below with a HKS mushroom filter on the end. The pipe attaches onto the throttle body and runs all the way to the side vent where it mates to the filter. It sounds good and feels better.
